Brief Introduction
to Shijiazhuang Banknote Printing Plant
Shijiazhuang Banknote Printing Plant (SBPP for short) is under
the direct control of China Banknote Printing & Minting
Corporation of the People¡¯s Bank of China. It is located in
No.289 Zhaiying Street Shijiazhuang of Hebei Province, covering
104 thousand square meters¡¯ areas and possessing 564 million
Yuan fixed assets and 606 million Yuan total capital. It was
constructed as one of the large-scale state-own banknote printing
enterprises by the state during ¡°the 7th-Five Year Plan¡± period.
Since the founding of SBPP, all the workers and staff have always
kept firmly in mind the aim of doing their best to serve ¡° the
Central Bank ¡±, the duty of insisting on the production management
guidelines: ¡°Safety First, Quality First, Management Strict
and Figures Precise¡±. Good economic returns and social effect
are obtained in SBPP just because the new thought of reformation
and development is continuously expanded, the modern management
mode, method and concept are boldly introduced and practiced
and all kinds of jobs are carried out creatively. SBPP gains
the win-win both in sprit and material.
SBPP always values the investment in science and technology,
continuously importing the top-grade modern equipments of banknote
printing, developing and applying the advanced production craft
with anti-counterfeiting measures to the production and establishing
the strictly safe, confidential and defensive system. In the
long-term of extremely hard and difficult practices, a great
number of precious experiences and techniques have been gotten
by SBPP. Here all the workers and staff work very hard. They

to the banknote printing and publishing and played a very important

More than ten years since its setting up, SBPP has become one
of the enterprises turning over ten million Yuan profits tax
to the state in Shijiazhuang, one of ¡°the 100 Powerful Industry
Enterprises in Hebei Province¡± and one of ¡°the 100 Powerful
Professional Printing Enterprises in China¡± and one of ¡°the
500 Superior Enterprises in China¡±. The certificates are successively
awarded to SBPP by China Banknote Printing & Minting Corp.
They are the certificates of ¡° Advanced Enterprise in Management,
¡° Excellent Enterprise in Management¡± and ¡° Special Safety-class
Enterprise¡±. SBPP has also passed the attestation of ISO9000
Quality Management System and ISO14001/18001 Environment/Occupation
Health Safety Management System. At the time of keeping ¡°the
Province- class Civilization Unit" title, SBPP was also
selected as ¡° the Best Image Unit of Industrial Enterprise in
Heibei Province¡± and given the title of ¡° Spirit and Material
Civilization Unit¡± by China Banknote Printing & Minting
Corp. It was honored with ¡° ¡® 5.1¡¯ Diploma of Hebei Province¡±
and ¡° ¡® 5.1¡¯ Diploma of Finance System of the Whole Country¡±.
With the complicate changes of the structure and form and the
economy of the whole world, the rapid development of banknote
printing and the technology with anti-counterfeiting measures
pushes all the banknote printing enterprises to the competitive
market. In order to keep pace with the times, SBPP puts forward
the action slogans: ¡°Enhancing the Character of the Workers
and Staff, Establishing SBPP Image, Producing the Best Quality
of Products, Competing for the First, Being loyal to the Banknote
Printing and Developing SBPP¡±. Meanwhile, SBPP has started comprehensively

ability and meeting the need of the workers and staff, SBPP
